The Project:
The covid-19 response project operates in collaboration with parasocial workers to identify vulnerable households within Ignaga District to determine the support needs and address the homes with food security, sanitary care and medical support. We aim to monitor the families closely over a two month period to guide them on how to how maintain their reusable sanitary pads, cultivate their land to generate income and use best practices to alleviate any form of waste and build on a nutritious diet for optimum health.
The solution:
To provide:
1 year sanitary care and facilitation to learn how to maintain and care for it.
1 month staple food supply
Fresh vegetables
Sustainability offering seeds and skills to cultivate land
Parasocial worker support with medical support
Monitoring and Evaluation follow up care & support
So far we have supported 50 families (with an average of 5 people per household), estimated at 250 people in total with our covid-19 response project on a budget of £5000.
We can help hundreds of more families with your support! PLEASE DONATE TODAY!
